Guest Worker Slavery
America never got over the rush of slavery, the power over other peoples lives, that made some very rich and others desperately poor. Now, H2A--the 'guest worker' program--attempts to revive that power imbalance against organized farmworkers, who, like other members of organized labor, want job security and the chance to own a home and raise a family--here where they work.
