Pawns for Profit

Hiroyuki Hamada, fellow of the New York Foundation for the Arts and Guggenheim, writes that the reactionary criticism of noted investigative journalist Cory Morningstar by young, naive pawns for profit illustrates the control of the ruling class as arbiters of the social ladder. The illusion of salvation that motivates these misled youth, he says, is a result of the "systematic inhumanity" behind the co-optation of activism represented by the media spectacle of *Greta*.

Fairy Tales

Fairy tales — no matter how many people believe them — are still fairy tales.
Three examples of fairy tales — widely believed by millions — are listed below.
· Christian White Nationalism
· Immaculate Conception
· Power of Prayer
Contrary to evidence, utterly illogical and patently absurd — but widely believed. This is where we begin our discussion on the detrimental effect of religion on mental health in America.
While these fairy tales might seem harmless to the infantile, they are psychologically abusive and detrimental to democracy.
Jesus won’t save you.
