Power of Power

Purchasing prominent critics--willing to sacrifice their principles for profit and prestige--arbiters of power procure a useful veneer for the ruthless brutality of their masters. Securing the souls of former critics of the power elite, i.e. Samantha Power and Naomi Klein, the commissioners of war crimes and crimes against humanity--past, present and future--obtain the cover they need to convert these atrocities into 'humanitarian interventions'. Conflating these interventions, in the age of social media, enables the acquisition of public approval and support for 'war without end'.

Labor Priorities

Looking at the political landscape, I think labor and social activists will have their work cut out for them fighting privatization and defending New Deal programs such as Welfare, Social Security and Medicare.

Jumping on the 'clean energy' bandwagon (that only benefits Wall Street) is not an effort with any payoff to society, except in manufacturing and construction jobs, but it still supports increased consumerism and militarism that drive the increase in CO2 and other greenhouse gases.

Unquestioned Faith

350 Shibboleths

The widespread unquestioned faith in 350 propaganda and the myth of 'clean energy' seems to have rendered many incapable of independent thought. Some might believe that it is a coincidence that the 350 campaigns (KXL, Divestment, and Break Free)--funded by Warren Buffett via TIDES Foundation--benefit him financially. I don't happen to be that gullible.

As for the primary thesis of the Break Free campaign, that we can become fossil free, there is no evidence whatsoever indicating that is remotely achievable without nuclear power. The fact that Bill Gates is the number one proponent of nuclear power in the world is another one of those unlikely coincidences, considering that 350s Bill McKibben is a major promoter of the New Economy that incorporates nuclear power as a UN 'sustainable development' goal.

Ozzie Zehner's Green Illusions video--that is linked to in my NWC article--seems pretty straightforward in its conclusions: 'clean energy' doesn't work, and can't work; it is a myth that is more harmful than fossil fuel. That, along with other 350 shibboleths, is sacrosanct to 350 followers, and if those go by the wayside, then the whole reason for 350 falls apart--along with the false hope and fake identities they have constructed for themselves around these fantasies.

Very few people in media or society at large follow the money, rather than swallowing whole social media, public relations, and press releases posing as news. Those who do discover that the world of make believe 350 built with money from the financial elite benefits the financial elite.

Color me shocked.

Break Free Corruption

If it wasn't for the nuking the future aspect of the 350 'clean energy' Ponzi scheme, the Break Free from fossil fuels campaign might be amusing, in a fairyland sort of way. I mean, Wall Street's always at least a dozen steps ahead of these bozos prancing around like they're saving the world. Ponzi schemes are just part of the new world order, and the do-gooders are always the last to catch on.

But then there's that little aspect of this exceedingly pompous foolery generating some genuinely pissed off responses from some not so tolerable sorts, who might get it in their heads to  commission some revenge against innocents like the Indian tribes, who are just trying to look out for their treaty rights--all because the idiots with nothing better to do are threatening to put people out of work.

So then we have to come out of our lovely retirement and clean up the mess these idiots caused with their fanatic fantasies about politics that brings out the worst in some folks who harbor racist resentment and start looking to do some wilding on our Native American friends, like they did twenty years ago--which was a real pain, and not a bit like the jolly camp out of May 14-16 at March Point.

Fact-Checking Hillary

Polls show Sanders has a better chance of defeating Trump than Clinton does. Clinton, although as yet unindicted for her proven crimes of money-laundering and influence-peddling as Secretary of State, is especially vulnerable to impeachment--even if she did win. Without having the corrupt corporate media, super-delegate system, and DNC behind her, she wouldn't even be a contender.

Earth Economics

In Hijacking the Environmental Movement, I wrote that the ‘New Economy’ privatization cheerleaders, i.e. 350, Avaaz and CERES, all have fundamental ties to Wall Street moguls and finance sector criminals, and are “currently pressing for changes in international law that would give the finance sector carte blanche in privatizing all of nature.” What this so-called ‘sustainable capitalism’ is in reality sustaining, I observed, “is totalitarian corporate control of world governance and human survival.” Earth Economics, initially founded by TIDES, is a key player in promoting this scheme.

The Creation of Discursive Monoculture

The ulterior strategy of Avaaz as the ‘Great White Hope’ in other venues, subsequently allowed this social media marketing agency to easily herd so-called progressives to line up behind the neoliberal imperial campaigns in Libya & Syria–where Avaaz literally designed and managed the PR campaign for NATO and the US–in order to present the Al Qaeda affiliate Al Nusra as the good guys in ‘white helmets’. Networked psychological warfare (Netwar) is not hard to grasp; it just isn’t discussed anywhere, making Communication: The Invisible Environment.

Native Trauma

Peter D’Errico reports that Native suicides reflect an infection of the soul by the disease of silent despair, an unresolved grief from the civilizing of Indians by Europeans. The ongoing loss of lands, resources, and ways of life, he says, leave Native communities in a state of perpetual mourning as each new generation is born into “a world in shambles”.
