Privatization is Theft
As the Native American Rights Fund notes, privatization of Bears Ears National Monument is theft. For the Hopi, Navajo, Zuni and Ute, the many structures, sites and artifacts comprising their ancestral heritage at Bears Ears--now being looted--are worth fighting to protect. President Trump's revocation of Bears Ears National Monument--the first revocation in U.S. history--is "taking public lands that belong to the American people and selling it to the highest bidder."
